Srinivasu Malladi has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Bharat Forge Ltd, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues expanding its global presence across engineering and manufacturing markets.
Malladi confirmed the development through a LinkedIn post, stating that he has begun a new role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bharat Forge. In this position, he will lead the company’s end-to-end human resources strategy, including workforce transformation, talent development, organisational design and industrial relations across its operations.
Bharat Forge Ltd, the flagship company of the Kalyani Group, is among India’s largest forging manufacturers and supplies critical components to industries such as automotive, defence, aerospace and industrial engineering.

In that role, he managed HR operations for a workforce of more than 15,000 employees across multiple business units and locations. His responsibilities also included overseeing HR shared services across 10 legal entities within the Kalyani Group, with a focus on building a more technology-enabled employee experience and improving efficiency across HR processes.
Malladi brings more than 22 years of HR leadership experience across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, FMCG and technology.
His appointment comes at a time when large manufacturing organisations in India are increasingly strengthening leadership capabilities and investing in digital HR systems, workforce development and talent transformation to support global growth.
