
Tim Cox has been appointed Chief Technology Officer at Chameleon Technology (UK) Ltd, based in Harrogate. In this role, he will lead the organisation’s technology strategy, platform development, and architecture-led transformation initiatives, supporting Chameleon Technology’s mission to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-focused technology solutions.
Cox brings extensive experience in product and technology leadership, enterprise architecture, cloud-native platforms, security, risk management, and customer delivery. His career spans senior roles in hybrid and global environments, consistently focusing on stabilising platforms, improving delivery predictability, and driving business outcomes through architecture-driven strategies.
Before joining Chameleon Technology, Cox served at Sycurio as Chief Product and Technology Officer and VP Customer Delivery, where he led product innovation, technology execution, and client delivery priorities. Prior to Sycurio, he held leadership positions at Sorted Group as VP Customer Experience and Chief Technology Officer, driving platform modernisation, cloud-native re-architecture, security enhancements, and process improvements, while playing a key role during the company’s LSE (AIM) listing process.
Cox also served as Chief Technology Officer at Apica Systems, where he modernised synthetic monitoring services, transitioned legacy stacks to scalable architectures, strengthened engineering processes, and led ISO and SOC2 compliance initiatives. Earlier roles include COO and enterprise service architecture leadership, overseeing global operational processes, professional services delivery, and large-scale solution implementations.
In his new role, Tim Cox is expected to drive innovation, strengthen technology capabilities, and deliver scalable platforms while building high-performing teams that align with Chameleon Technology’s growth and customer-centric ambitions.
