Dr. Sidheshwar Sharma has been elevated to the role of Vice President at TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited, marking a key milestone in his long-standing association with the organization.
In his current role, he is leading health underwriting for the retail segment, with a focus on strengthening underwriting practices, enhancing product development, and advancing risk management capabilities.
He has been with TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited for over a decade, progressing through multiple leadership roles. Prior to this, he served as Vice President – Underwriting for Personal Lines (Home and Private Client Group) from October 2025 to March 2026 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Earlier, he held the position of Vice President – Accident and Travel Claims from April 2023 to September 2025, and Deputy Vice President – Accident and Travel Claims from April 2018 to April 2023. He also served as Associate Vice President – Accident & Travel Claims from August 2015 to March 2018, contributing to claims management and underwriting functions.
Before joining TATA AIG, he was associated with SBI General Insurance and Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd., where he developed strong expertise in underwriting, claims, and insurance product development.
With extensive experience across underwriting, claims, and product development, Dr. Sidheshwar Sharma brings a strong foundation to drive retail health underwriting and risk management initiatives at TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited.
