
Sachin Agrawal has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer at Hero MotoCorp, marking a key leadership move to strengthen the company’s technology and innovation capabilities. His appointment comes at a time when the automotive industry is rapidly evolving with a strong focus on electrification, connected mobility, and next-generation vehicle technologies.
In his new role, Agrawal will lead the company’s technology and research and development direction. He will oversee innovation across the Hero Centre for Innovation and Technology (CIT) and the Hero Tech Centre Germany (TCG), driving advancements in product development and engineering. His focus will include enhancing capabilities in electric mobility, connected vehicle ecosystems, and future-ready automotive platforms.
Agrawal brings extensive experience from leadership roles across the automotive sector. Prior to joining Hero MotoCorp, he held key positions at VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., Volvo Group, Eicher Motors, and Daewoo Motors India Limited. His career spans multiple aspects of automotive engineering and large-scale product development.
Over the years, he has worked across a wide range of powertrain technologies, including diesel, CNG, electric, and hydrogen. He has also contributed to the development of connected mobility solutions and AI-driven automotive ecosystems, building a strong foundation in future mobility technologies.
His appointment underscores Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to strengthening its technology roadmap and accelerating innovation. With his deep expertise and industry experience, Agrawal is expected to play a crucial role in positioning the company for long-term growth in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven mobility landscape.
