
Ribhav Bansal has been appointed as Director – Information Security & Cybersecurity at PwC India, where he will also lead Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives from Bengaluru. His appointment reflects the organization’s continued focus on strengthening cybersecurity advisory and transformation capabilities amid a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
With over 15 years of experience, Ribhav brings deep expertise across cybersecurity, information security, and enterprise-scale transformation programs. Over the course of his career, he has successfully led complex engagements for both global and domestic organizations across industries including FMCG, retail, banking, insurance, healthcare, and technology, delivering scalable and high-impact business outcomes.
Prior to joining PwC India, he spent nearly 13 years at EY, where he progressed through multiple leadership roles from Associate Consultant to Senior Manager. During his tenure, he led several strategic cybersecurity engagements and earned multiple professional recognitions for his contributions and leadership.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a Software Engineer at Blue Star Infotech and began his professional journey at Sutherland as a Technical Support Executive, building a strong technical and operational foundation.
Ribhav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from University of Mumbai and an MBA from Welingkar Institute of Management, graduating with First Class with Distinction in both programs. He is also certified as an ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, further strengthening his expertise in information security governance and business continuity management.
His appointment positions him to play a key role in advancing PwC India’s cybersecurity growth strategy, strengthening client trust, and enabling secure digital transformation initiatives across industries.
