Rasika Prashant has joined NSRCEL as its Chief Executive Officer, taking over the leadership of one of India’s leading startup incubation platforms.
Prashant brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship, brand building, innovation, growth strategy, and business scaling to her new role at NSRCEL.
Prior to joining NSRCEL, she was associated with Tata Soulfull as Co-founder and later served as Chief Marketing Officer. During her tenure, she played a key role in building the brand and supporting its growth journey following its integration into Tata Consumer Products.
At NSRCEL, Prashant will oversee initiatives focused on supporting entrepreneurs through incubation programs, mentorship opportunities, access to capital, and strategic collaborations. Her responsibilities will also include strengthening engagement across academia, industry, government bodies, investors, and the broader startup ecosystem.
With a background in building and scaling businesses, Prashant takes charge of an incubator that has established itself as a significant platform for entrepreneurship and innovation.
Founded by Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, NSRCEL has supported a wide range of startups across sectors through incubation, acceleration, and entrepreneurial development programs. The incubator has played an important role in connecting founders with mentors, investors, industry experts, and institutional resources.
According to available figures, NSRCEL has incubated more than 2,800 ventures and impacted over 5,300 ventures through its various programs. Over the years, the organization has expanded its focus across multiple sectors, supporting entrepreneurs at different stages of their business journeys.
Prashant’s appointment marks a new leadership chapter for NSRCEL as it continues its work in nurturing startups and fostering innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
