Geno Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd has appointed Nagesh Mune as Chief Operating Officer – Commercial Operations, where he will lead the company’s commercial strategy across the India and Nepal markets.
In his new role, Mune will focus on strengthening Geno Pharmaceuticals’ commercial operations, expanding its market presence, and improving operational effectiveness. He will also work on driving sustainable business growth while supporting the company’s broader commercial and organizational objectives.
Mune brings more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a career spanning commercial operations, sales and marketing, business strategy, portfolio management, and organizational leadership. His experience across multiple therapeutic segments has given him a broad understanding of the commercial and operational requirements of the pharmaceutical business.
Before joining Geno Pharmaceuticals, Mune served as President – Vertical Head at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he held a senior leadership position within the organization. His career also includes leadership roles at Akumentis Healthcare Ltd, Pharmanova Specialties Pvt Ltd, and Ranbaxy, where he developed expertise across commercial strategy, portfolio management, sales, marketing, and business growth.
Over the course of his career, Mune has worked across different facets of the pharmaceutical value chain, combining commercial leadership with strategic and operational responsibilities. His experience in managing business portfolios and leading teams positions him to take on a broad mandate at Geno Pharmaceuticals.
