Bajaj Finance Limited has acquired a 5% equity stake in AI-powered video generation platform TrueFan AI, operated by Hogwarts E-learning Universe Private Limited. The investment has been made as part of Bajaj Finserv’s Finserv Intelligence initiative, which focuses on applied research, innovation and investments in emerging technologies. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The investment builds on an existing commercial relationship between Bajaj Finance and TrueFan AI. Bajaj Finance has already deployed TrueFan AI’s platform at scale, generating millions of personalised videos for customer engagement and dealer enablement initiatives. The investment is also aligned with Bajaj Finance’s broader strategy of using AI-led automation and personalisation across its digital operations.
TrueFan AI provides businesses with technology to create personalised and multilingual videos at scale using artificial intelligence. Its platform can turn a single recording into multiple personalised video variations, reducing the need for repeated filming. The company’s technology can also create AI avatars representing individuals such as business leaders, doctors and celebrities.
The Gurugram-based company said its infrastructure can generate up to 500,000 videos per minute and supports more than 175 languages. TrueFan AI has more than 100 enterprise customers across industries. Companies listed as users of its technology include Amazon, HP, Dyson, Novo Nordisk, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance and Cipla.
Following the investment, Bajaj Finance and TrueFan AI plan to expand their collaboration across several areas. These include personalised marketing, large-scale video generation, live avatar assistance within applications, multilingual communication, dealer communication, learning and development, and digital onboarding.
Rajeev Jain, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Finance, said the investment followed sustained, production-scale use of TrueFan AI’s technology, which gave the company direct experience of the platform’s capabilities and execution. TrueFan AI Co-founder and CEO Nimish Goel said the investment represents a deeper partnership between the two companies and follows Bajaj Finance’s experience as one of the startup’s largest customers.
The latest transaction comes shortly after TrueFan AI raised $10 million in a Series A funding round in June 2026. The round was led by Baring Private Equity Partners India and Z3Partners, with participation from IAN Alpha Fund and 3Lines Venture Capital. At the time, TrueFan AI said it would use the funding to support international expansion and increase investment in AI infrastructure and enterprise deployments.
The company has reported demand for its technology from Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States. Its latest investment from Bajaj Finance adds to its existing commercial relationship with the financial services company as TrueFan AI continues to expand its enterprise-focused AI video platform.
The investment is also part of Bajaj Finserv’s wider Finserv Intelligence programme, launched in May 2026. Under the initiative, Bajaj Finserv said its group companies planned to invest between ₹1,500 crore and ₹2,000 crore over five years in startups and early-stage businesses with potential for scalability. The programme focuses on areas including AI, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, fintech and consumer technology, covering companies from the seed stage through Series B.
As part of Finserv Intelligence, Bajaj Finserv has also partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay to establish a joint research centre focused on AI, cybersecurity and quantum technologies. The initiative combines startup investments, academic collaborations and in-house technology capabilities to develop high-technology, scalable solutions built in India for domestic and global markets.
