
Dr Ashish Shrivastava has taken on a new assignment as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Radico Khaitan Limited, where he will lead AI-driven digital transformation for the company.
Shrivastava announced his appointment on LinkedIn, describing the new role as an opportunity to contribute to the digital and AI-led growth of one of India’s established spirits companies. He said he was pleased to join Radico Khaitan and looked forward to contributing to the company’s next phase of growth through technology and artificial intelligence.
With more than 25 years of professional experience, Shrivastava brings a broad background in digital transformation, technology leadership and business operations to his new position. Over the course of his career, he has worked across 6–7 different industries and has led transformation initiatives involving financial services, government, retail, media and manufacturing.
His experience includes managing payment process transformation for more than 90 global banks. He has also worked on smart city initiatives and government service automation, while overseeing large-scale technology and operational environments.
Shrivastava has additionally been involved in managing operations across 75,000+ ATMs and driving operations across 20,000+ retail outlets. His professional experience also includes leading transformation initiatives in the media industry and managing operations across 55 manufacturing plants.
In his new role at Radico Khaitan, Shrivastava will focus on AI-driven digital transformation as the company continues to develop its technology capabilities. His experience across multiple industries and large-scale transformation programmes will form part of his responsibilities as he takes on the CIO position.
Shrivastava also highlighted Radico Khaitan’s scale and growth trajectory in his announcement. He noted that the company has a market capitalisation of over ₹60,000 crore and has grown at an approximate 20% CAGR over the last five years.
Commenting on his appointment, Shrivastava said he was proud to join the company and looked forward to contributing to its next chapter of digital and AI-led growth. He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity and said he was excited about what lies ahead.
The appointment marks another step in Shrivastava’s career in technology and enterprise transformation, bringing his experience across financial services, government, retail, media and manufacturing into the spirits and consumer business sector.
As CIO, Shrivastava will now lead the technology function at Radico Khaitan with a focus on digital transformation and the use of AI to support the company’s business and growth priorities.
