HDFC ERGO General Insurance has appointed Priyanka Nayak as Vice President – Human Resources, Talent Strategy & Employer Brand. She brings more than 16 years of experience across human resources, talent strategy, learning and development, employee experience, engagement, employer branding and HR operations.
Nayak joined HDFC ERGO in July 2026 after more than four years with Bain & Company. At Bain, she served as Senior Manager, Human Resources from January 2022 to June 2026, where she led learning and talent initiatives across the company’s India offices, supporting consulting and business support teams.
Before Bain, Nayak worked at Nium as Manager, Employee Experience & Learning. She was responsible for employee experience, learning and engagement initiatives across teams and geographies. Earlier, she spent around two-and-a-half years with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as Senior Specialist, Learning & Development, where she worked on leadership and learning initiatives for BCG’s India consulting teams.
Her earlier career includes more than four years with Capgemini as Learning & Development Consultant/HR, where she worked with business leaders on learning strategy and capability development for a large employee base. She began her HR career at XL Dynamics India Pvt. Ltd. as an HR Executive (Generalist), handling core HR operations and employee lifecycle processes. Before that, she worked in client relations at Info Edge India Ltd.
At HDFC ERGO, Nayak will focus on enterprise talent strategy, employer branding and internal communications. Her responsibilities will also include strengthening the company’s employee proposition and organisational culture.
Nayak holds a Master of Human Resource Development and Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), completed in 2016, and a B.Com degree from SIES, Sion.
