Radhika Arora has joined DCM Shriram Chemicals as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), bringing more than 22 years of experience across engineering, infrastructure, renewable energy, consumer electronics and the public sector. Her experience covers people strategy, HR transformation and digitalisation, talent and capability development, and building performance-driven organisational cultures.
Before joining DCM Shriram Chemicals, Arora served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd. She previously spent more than four years with Jakson Group, where she held the positions of Group CHRO and later Group Chief People Officer.
Earlier, Arora spent seven years with Sony India as Head – Talent Acquisition, OD & Learning. In that role, she worked across talent acquisition, organisational development, employee engagement and learning and development. She also spent more than eight years with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) as Deputy Manager HR – OD & Recruitment, where her responsibilities included performance management, succession planning, competency management, employee surveys and SAP-HR processes.
She began her career with Spectrum Placements as a Consultant – IT Talent Acquisition. Her career has since covered HR leadership and organisational development roles across industrial, engineering, infrastructure and consumer-focused organisations.
At DCM Shriram Chemicals, Arora will focus on building the leadership, technical and organisational capabilities required to support the company’s capacity expansion, manufacturing excellence and move into higher-value segments. Her mandate will also include strengthening a culture centred on safety and performance.
DCM Shriram Chemicals is part of DCM Shriram Ltd and operates in the chlor-alkali and chemicals business. Its product portfolio includes caustic soda, chlorine, hydrogen and hydrochloric acid, with applications across industries including textiles, pharmaceuticals, water treatment and food processing. The company has manufacturing facilities in Bharuch and Kota and supplies its chemical products to 73 countries.
Arora’s appointment adds her experience in people strategy, organisational development and HR transformation to DCM Shriram Chemicals as the company works on expanding its capabilities and strengthening its workforce and organisational culture.
