Protectt.ai Labs Private Limited, an AI-native cybersecurity company, has made a strategic investment in AIShield, an AI security platform originally incubated within Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW), marking a significant step towards expanding its presence in the rapidly evolving AI security landscape.
Through a combination of primary share issuance and secondary share acquisition from existing investors, Protectt.ai has secured a majority stake in AIShield. The platform will operate as an independent entity under AIShield Private Limited (AISW), a Protectt.ai company.
The partnership combines Protectt.ai’s capabilities in mobile application security and established relationships across regulated industries with AIShield’s specialised AI security technology and engineering expertise. The investment will support research and development, international expansion, and the advancement of sovereign AI security solutions.
With artificial intelligence increasingly integrated into mission-critical business operations, enterprises are facing growing demands for robust AI security, governance, and operational control. These requirements are particularly significant for organisations in regulated sectors, where protecting AI systems, managing associated risks, and meeting evolving compliance obligations are becoming strategic priorities.
A key focus of the collaboration will be to advance Sovereign AI Security, helping organisations strengthen control over their AI systems, data, and workloads while addressing emerging regulatory requirements and market-specific security considerations.
The investment also represents a new chapter for AIShield, transitioning from an innovation incubated within a global engineering ecosystem to an independent company positioned for broader commercial adoption and international growth. By combining Protectt.ai’s cybersecurity expertise, enterprise relationships, and market presence with AIShield’s AI security platform, the partnership aims to address the emerging security challenges associated with enterprise AI adoption.
As businesses scale their AI initiatives, the collaboration positions both companies to support the development of more secure, governed, and resilient AI environments.
