Green SM India has appointed Rohit Sharma as its Chief Executive Officer, bringing leadership experience across business operations, strategic planning, and transformation initiatives in technology-driven enterprises.
Over a career spanning nearly 19 years, Sharma has worked across mobility, e-commerce, operations management, and consulting, with a focus on improving operational performance, building scalable business models, and applying technology to address complex business challenges.
In his previous role at Swiggy, he held the positions of Vice President – Operations Strategy and Vice President – Operations, he contributed to cost optimisation, the expansion of electric vehicle delivery operations to more than 30,000 daily active users, and the implementation of Generative AI initiatives that generated savings of over 900 person-hours each week.
His broader experience includes leadership assignments at Mygate, Be Group in Vietnam, Myntra, and Lodha Group, alongside consulting roles with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Deloitte Consulting. These experiences span strategic advisory, business execution, and operational development across diverse industries.
In his new role, Sharma will bring this cross-sector perspective to Green SM India’s business priorities as the company looks to strengthen its presence in India’s electric mobility market. His appointment comes at a time when operational efficiency, technology adoption, and scalable mobility solutions are increasingly important to the sector’s evolution.
