Bristol Myers Squibb has appointed Vamsi Tekuru as Vice President of Technology and Managing Director, Hyderabad, bringing over two decades of experience across technology leadership, digital engineering, enterprise architecture, and large-scale transformation.
Prior to this appointment, Vamsi held senior technology leadership positions at Ameriprise serving as Vice President – India Head of Technology. In his leadership roles as Hyderabad GCC Head and Global Head of Digital Engineering, he drove digital engineering initiatives, enterprise technology modernisation, and the development of global technology capabilities. His contributions spanned building high-performing engineering teams, advancing cloud-native architecture, enabling AI-driven development, and strengthening digital product capabilities.
He also spent over seven years at Cognizant as a Solutions Architect, contributing to enterprise architecture and digital transformation programmes across banking and wealth management.
His appointment marks a new chapter in his technology leadership journey, bringing extensive experience in scaling engineering organisations, modernising enterprise platforms, and advancing digital innovation.
