Google has expanded access to Dreambeans, an experimental application from Google Labs that creates personalised daily story collections, to users in India. The app became available across the country on November 3, 2026, for users aged 18 and above.
Dreambeans is designed to provide users with personalised content based on their interests and information from Google services they choose to connect. Instead of relying on an endless scrolling feed, the application brings together selected stories and recommendations that users can explore throughout the day.
The collections may include suggestions for places to visit, arts and crafts activities, and reminders about upcoming local events. Users can open individual stories to explore more information, save content for later or share it with others.
According to Google, Dreambeans uses information from selected Google applications, including Calendar, Gemini, Gmail, Google Photos, Search and YouTube. Users can choose which services they want to connect to the experience.
The application is also designed to improve over time through user feedback. Google said users can share their responses to help make the personalised story collections more relevant.
Dreambeans is available on both Android and iOS devices. The India launch supports 14 languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese and Nepali, along with English.
The expansion brings Google’s experimental AI-powered storytelling experience to a wider audience in India. It also adds another consumer-facing application to the company’s growing range of AI products and services.
By combining information from multiple Google applications, Dreambeans aims to present users with a personalised selection of content, activities and reminders in one place.
