
AIS has appointed Amit Azad as Chief People Officer to lead the company’s global people strategy and support its organisational growth.
In his new role, Azad will oversee talent acquisition, leadership development, learning and development, employee engagement and wellbeing, workforce planning and total rewards. He will work closely with business leaders to strengthen the employee experience, support career development and foster a high-performing and inclusive workplace culture.
Azad brings more than two decades of human resources leadership experience across business process outsourcing, technology, insurance, telecommunications, analytics and financial services. His expertise spans talent strategy, organisational transformation, leadership development, workforce planning and employee engagement.
Prior to joining AIS, Azad served as Corporate Vice President of Human Resources at WNS Global Services, now part of Capgemini. He led the human resources strategy for the company’s global insurance business, supporting approximately 18,000 employees across multiple regions.
During his tenure at WNS, Azad worked on people programmes aligned with business growth and long-term organisational objectives. His experience includes talent management, HR digitalisation, leadership capability development, organisational transformation, employee engagement and the integration of teams following mergers and acquisitions.
Earlier in his career, he held human resources leadership positions at TeleTech Services and Pioneer eServe. These assignments helped him build experience in managing people operations across large, geographically distributed workforces and supporting companies through periods of expansion and transformation.
