Israeli cybersecurity startup Capsule Security has emerged from stealth with $7 million in seed funding, aiming to address emerging risks in the rapidly growing field of agentic artificial intelligence. The round was led by Lama Partners, with participation from Forgepoint Capital International.
Founded in 2025 by Naor Paz and Lidan Hazout, Capsule Security is building a platform that continuously monitors the behavior of AI agents in real time to prevent manipulation, abnormal actions, and data exfiltration. The solution acts as an independent security layer, providing visibility into how AI agents operate and intervening when unsafe or unauthorized actions are detected.
The platform is designed to work across multiple environments and tools, supporting systems such as Cursor, Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot Studio, ServiceNow, and Salesforce Agentforce. It can integrate into existing enterprise workflows without requiring additional infrastructure like proxies or SDKs.
Capsule is positioning AI agents as a new category of “privileged users,” capable of executing tasks at machine speed with limited oversight. This creates a significant security gap, as traditional tools are not built to monitor or control AI-driven actions in real time.
The startup’s launch comes amid growing enterprise adoption of AI agents, with reports indicating that over 80% of Fortune 500 companies are already deploying such systems. As these agents gain access to sensitive data and operational workflows, the need for real-time monitoring and control is becoming increasingly critical.
