
Bengaluru, India: Dr. Soji Abraham has been appointed Chairman of the National Cold Chain Task Force at the Confederation of Indian Industry, taking on a key industry leadership role focused on strengthening India’s cold chain infrastructure and supply chain capabilities.
The appointment adds to Dr. Abraham’s extensive leadership experience in the cold chain, refrigeration, and infrastructure sectors. In his new role, he will contribute to advancing industry collaboration, improving operational efficiency, supporting sustainability initiatives, and enhancing supply chain resilience across critical sectors including food processing, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and agriculture.
Dr. Abraham currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Rinac India Ltd, where he oversees international operations and large business portfolios. His association with the company spans more than three decades, during which he has held multiple leadership positions including Chief Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, and Vice President.
Throughout his tenure at Rinac India Ltd, he has played a significant role in driving business expansion, operational development, and strategic growth within the cold chain and refrigeration industry. His experience includes leadership across large-scale infrastructure projects, business operations, and industry-focused technology solutions.
Industry stakeholders view his appointment as significant at a time when India is increasing focus on strengthening cold storage networks, temperature-controlled logistics, and integrated supply chain systems to support sectors such as healthcare, food preservation, agriculture exports, and pharmaceutical distribution.
