Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre has appointed Dr. Suhas Pawar as Chief Strategy Officer, strengthening its leadership team across institutional strategy, healthcare transformation and organisational development. In his new role, Dr. Pawar will lead the hospital’s strategic planning and growth initiatives while supporting the institution’s long-term vision. His responsibilities will include strengthening healthcare delivery, driving innovation, improving patient experience and aligning operational priorities with the hospital’s broader transformation objectives.
The appointment marks Dr. Pawar’s return to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, where he previously held senior roles across strategy and medical services. Before taking up his latest position, he served as Associate Director at PwC India, leading and supporting consulting engagements involving digital health, patient experience and healthcare transformation. His experience in consulting has provided him with exposure to the strategic, technological and operational challenges confronting hospitals and healthcare organisations as they modernise their services and adopt digitally enabled models of care.
During his earlier association with Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Dr. Pawar served as Additional Director – Strategy and Medical Services and, prior to that, as Deputy Director – Strategy and Medical Services. In these roles, he contributed to institutional planning, medical-services management and hospital-development initiatives. He also worked as Medical Superintendent at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children and Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital, where his responsibilities involved hospital administration, clinical operations and the coordination of medical services. His professional background combines clinical knowledge with healthcare strategy, management consulting, operational planning and patient-experience improvement.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Dr. Pawar will be positioned at the intersection of clinical services, administration and long-term institutional planning. His previous familiarity with the hospital’s systems and leadership environment, combined with his recent consulting experience, is expected to support the execution of its strategic priorities. The hospital has not publicly disclosed the complete reporting structure or specific programmes that will fall under his leadership.
