India: Enterprise technology upskilling company edForce has appointed Ramesh Padmanabhan as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He has recently assumed charge and will lead the company’s growth strategy as it expands its enterprise training, certification and workforce development capabilities.
Ramesh brings more than 30 years of experience across enterprise technology, professional learning, training and certification. He has held senior leadership positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Red Hat and NIIT and previously served as the CEO of RPS Consulting. His career spans enterprise learning, technology ecosystems, strategic partnerships and partner-led business models across India and South Asia.
The appointment comes as rapid developments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and automation change the nature of technology roles. The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025 estimates that 39% of workers’ existing skill sets will be transformed or become outdated by 2030, making continuous capability development an increasingly important business priority.
