EVOCS Launches India Entity Velloe With ₹100 Crore Investment Commitment

US-headquartered Evolution Cloud Services (EVOCS) has officially launched its India entity, Velloe, in Mumbai with a planned investment commitment of ₹100 crore, marking a major step in the company’s India expansion and AI-driven digital infrastructure strategy.

The company said Velloe will focus on delivering AI-ready infrastructure, cloud transformation, enterprise technology solutions, and digital modernization services for businesses across India and global markets.

As part of its India growth plans, Velloe has already established a Noida Innovation Centre employing more than 100 professionals and aims to scale its workforce to around 250 employees over the next 18 to 24 months. The company also plans to expand its presence through additional offices in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Jaipur.

The launch reflects increasing global interest in India as a strategic hub for artificial intelligence, cloud services, enterprise technology, and digital transformation capabilities. Technology companies continue to expand their India operations to access engineering talent, build innovation centres, and support growing enterprise demand for AI-led business solutions.

Speaking on the company’s India strategy, Thomas Marcin, Co-Founder and CEO of EVOCS APAC, said India offers “the right combination of talent, innovation capability, and digital ambition to become a global leader in AI-driven transformation.”

The company said its India operations will support enterprises in areas including AI adoption, infrastructure modernization, cloud platforms, automation, cybersecurity, and digital business transformation. Velloe also plans to work closely with enterprises seeking scalable technology ecosystems and AI-enabled operational models.

Maharashtra IT Minister Ashish Shelar attended the launch and highlighted the state government’s focus on strengthening Maharashtra’s technology ecosystem and attracting global technology investments. He also spoke about the Maha AI platform initiative aimed at improving administrative efficiency through AI adoption.

“Technology and AI will play a critical role in shaping the future of governance, businesses, and employment opportunities. We welcome organisations like Velloe that bring international expertise, investment, and skilled employment opportunities to Maharashtra and India,” Shelar said.

The expansion comes amid rising investments across India’s AI, cloud, and enterprise technology ecosystem as global companies continue building capability centres, innovation hubs, and digital delivery operations in the country.
