InCred Finance Q1 Net Profit Rises 82% to ₹172 Crore

Mumbai, InCred Financial Services has reported a consolidated net profit of ₹172 crore for the first quarter of financial year 2026–27, an increase of 82% from ₹94 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company attributed the growth in profit to an increase in loan disbursements, improved operating leverage and stable asset quality during the quarter.

InCred Finance reported a gross non-performing asset ratio of 2%, while its net non-performing asset ratio remained at approximately 0.7%. These indicators measure the proportion of loans where borrowers have stopped making scheduled repayments.

The lender provides credit products across consumer, education and small-business segments. It uses digital onboarding, data-based credit assessment and technology-supported risk-management processes to manage its lending operations.

The quarterly performance comes as its parent company, InCred Holdings, prepares for an initial public offering. The proposed public issue comprises a fresh issue of shares worth up to ₹1,250 crore and an offer for sale of up to 9.9 crore shares by existing shareholders.

The capital raised through the fresh issue is expected to support the group’s lending operations and strengthen its capital base. The final size, timing and structure of the offering will remain subject to regulatory approvals and market conditions.

InCred Finance is part of the InCred Group, which operates businesses across lending, wealth management and other financial services. The company offers products including personal loans, education financing and credit facilities for micro, small and medium enterprises.

Its lending platform combines digital customer acquisition and onboarding with credit evaluation, loan processing and portfolio monitoring. The company’s technology infrastructure supports the management of applications and risk across its different lending categories.

The improvement in quarterly profit and reported asset-quality indicators comes as InCred Holdings moves towards accessing the public markets for its next stage of growth.
