Info Edge’s AI Recruitment Products Reach ₹240 Crore Annualised Run Rate

Info Edge reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹841.7 crore for the second quarter of FY2027, up 12.8% from the same period last year. Operating profit before tax increased 29.8% to ₹347.3 crore, producing an operating margin of 41.3%. Cash generated from operations before tax rose 27.4% to ₹372.8 crore.

Standalone billings reached ₹822.3 crore, an increase of 12.8%. For the first half of the financial year, billings rose 13.5% to ₹1,559.3 crore. Recruitment remained the company’s largest operating segment: second-quarter recruitment billings grew 12.6%, revenue increased 13.3% and operating profit before tax rose 19.9%. The segment’s operating margin was 59.1%.

Managing director and chief executive Hitesh Oberoi said AI and data products offered to recruiters and jobseekers now account for a high-single-digit share of recruitment revenue. Based on second-quarter performance, these products have reached an annualised revenue run rate of approximately ₹240 crore. Info Edge has been integrating AI into candidate matching, search, recruiter workflows, profile creation and data products rather than presenting it as a separate consumer application.

The 99acres property platform accelerated quarterly billings growth to 21.2%, compared with 16.5% in the first quarter. It generated ₹22.1 crore of operating cash during the quarter, up from ₹2.3 crore a year earlier. This indicates improved operating leverage as traffic, listings and paid customer activity scaled.

Combined billings from Jeevansathi and Aisle increased 23.1%. Jeevansathi recorded 18.4% growth, while Aisle grew 40%. The matchmaking portfolio’s growth remains smaller in absolute terms than recruitment, but it adds a consumer subscription and engagement business distinct from the company’s recruitment and real-estate platforms.

Chief financial officer Himanshu Agarwal attributed the quarter’s cash generation to continued operating strength. The reported AI run rate is especially notable because it represents revenue already being generated from deployed recruitment products, rather than a forward-looking market estimate. The release does not disclose a separate profit figure for those AI offerings, so their standalone margin and development-cost profile cannot yet be assessed.
