Intel Corporation has recently fortified its leadership cadre in the Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ) and India territories, as part of its strategic overhaul. Hans Chuang has assumed the role of General Manager for the Sales, Marketing, and Communications Group (SMG) for APJ. Based in Taiwan, Hans will oversee all Intel operations across the Asia-Pacific, concentrating on driving revenue growth, fostering partnerships, and augmenting engagement with the local ecosystem.
Hans, an alumnus of McGill University with an MBA and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia, conveyed his excitement about spearheading Intel’s expansion and innovation across the diverse and swiftly expanding APJ region. He stressed the significance of collaborating with partners and upholding a dedication to an open, secure ecosystem to ensure sustained success.
In a further demonstration of its commitment to regional development, Intel designated India as a standalone region within its SMG division earlier in March, aiming to capitalize on the country’s rapid economic growth. Santhosh Viswanathan has been appointed as VP and MD of the India region. With his extensive background in business and industrial engineering and management, Santhosh endeavors to enhance customer relations and deliver value in the region.
Both Hans and Santhosh are seasoned leaders at Intel, renowned for their steadfast commitment to meeting client needs. Their appointments underscore Intel’s adaptable strategy in aligning its organizational framework with the shifting market dynamics.
