JioHotstar Appoints Nikhilesh Pawar as Senior Director – Brand Measurement & Analytics

JioHotstar has appointed Nikhilesh Pawar as Senior Director – Brand Measurement & Analytics, further strengthening its focus on advanced advertising analytics, marketing effectiveness, and data-driven brand measurement capabilities.

The appointment marks a significant milestone in Pawar’s journey with the organization, where he has spent the past two and a half years building and scaling the company’s brand measurement and analytics function. During his tenure, he played a key role in developing advanced impact assessment frameworks including Brand Lift, Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), helping advertisers improve campaign effectiveness and marketing performance evaluation.

He also collaborated closely with leading research and analytics firms such as Kantar, Ipsos, and Nielsen to strengthen marketing measurement capabilities and analytics-driven advertising solutions across industries.

Prior to joining JioHotstar, Pawar spent nearly six years with Disney Star and Star TV Network, where he led initiatives across consumer insights, marketing strategy, media buying, analytics, and audience engagement for major entertainment brands including Star Plus.

Earlier in his career, he held positions at PwC India and Schneider Electric, building expertise in strategic planning, business analytics, consumer research, and data-driven decision-making.

Pawar’s professional experience spans media analytics, audience measurement, marketing intelligence, consumer behavior analysis, strategic advertising effectiveness, and business growth initiatives across multiple sectors. His elevation reflects the growing importance of advanced analytics and measurement technologies within the media and digital advertising ecosystem as streaming platforms increasingly focus on performance-based advertising and data-led marketing solutions.

JioHotstar continues to expand its digital media, streaming, advertising, and analytics capabilities as competition intensifies across India’s rapidly evolving digital entertainment and online advertising market.
