Manas Pandit has joined Pfizer as Senior Director, AI and Enterprise Product Management, bringing more than 25 years of experience across life sciences, artificial intelligence, enterprise technology, product management and business transformation. His appointment strengthens Pfizer’s focus on applying advanced digital capabilities across its global biopharmaceutical operations.
The role brings together artificial intelligence and enterprise product management—two increasingly important areas for pharmaceutical companies seeking to modernize operations, improve decision-making and support scientific and commercial teams. Pandit’s extensive experience in life sciences technology and large-scale transformation programmes positions him to contribute to Pfizer’s broader digital innovation agenda and the responsible adoption of AI-enabled enterprise solutions.
Before joining Pfizer, Pandit spent more than four years at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. His positions at the company included Senior Director, US Patient Services and Senior Director, Business Engagement and Technology – Commercial IT. Through these assignments, he worked at the intersection of technology, commercial operations and patient services, supporting programmes designed to strengthen business engagement and improve technology-enabled patient experiences.
Pandit served as Principal Director – Life Sciences at Larsen & Toubro Infotech, now known as LTIMindtree. He also spent more than seven years at Cognizant as Client Partner and Director – Life Sciences. During this period, he contributed to digital programmes involving intelligent search across clinical, safety and medical-affairs functions, software-as-a-medical-device initiatives and advanced analytics for pharmaceutical clients.
His career additionally includes roles at Infosys, IBM Global Business Services and Calypso Technology. Pandit began his professional journey at Tata Consultancy Services, where he spent nearly nine years in progressively responsible positions, including Business Project Manager, Group Lead – SME Team and Business Relationship Manager. This varied background has given him experience across consulting, client engagement, governance, enterprise platforms and technology strategy.
