Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, QX Global Group has appointed Vijay Pahuja as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He will lead the Long Ridge Equity Partners-backed company’s next phase of growth as it expands its sector-focused business services and accelerates the use of artificial intelligence across its operations.
Pahuja succeeds Pom Chakravarti, who had served as Chief Executive Officer since 2024. Chakravarti will remain on the QX Global Board and continue as a senior executive, focusing on strategic client relationships and supporting the company’s long-term growth agenda.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Pahuja has built and scaled global services businesses across financial services, insurance, finance and accounting, enterprise services and AI-enabled operations. He joins QX from Sutherland Global Services, where he served as Global Head of Insurance and led multiple business verticals across financial services and insurance. During his tenure, he helped expand the insurance business and supported the development of agentic AI capabilities for enterprise service delivery.
Pahuja has also held senior leadership positions at WNS, Cognizant and IBM, where he was involved in scaling global delivery businesses and driving revenue growth across insurance, financial services and enterprise operations. His career includes experience with Fidelity Investments, spanning strategy, operations, automation, mergers and acquisitions, finance and large-scale enterprise transformation.
Commenting on the appointment, Pahuja said: “QX has built a genuine leadership position serving the mid-market—the businesses that power the global economy—through long-standing client relationships and a team with real expertise across finance, accounting, recruitment and complex knowledge services. My focus is to take that foundation further: go deeper into the sectors we know, put AI-led transformation into the hands of our people, and deliver outcomes our clients can measure in their growth, their margins, and their capacity to compete.”
Abid Neemuchwala, Chairman of QX Global Group, said Pahuja brings the commercial expertise, operational discipline and understanding of AI-led knowledge services required to guide the company into its next stage of development.
