Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited has appointed Dheeraj Sinha as its new Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), succeeding Anil Rao, the former Senior Vice President and CIO.
With over thirty years of experience in technology and management, Dheeraj Sinha joins Sun Pharma following an eight-year tenure as the EVP and Group CIO at JSW. His extensive career spans key roles in prominent organizations including JSW Group, Apollo Tyres, Infovergix Technologies, UMIT Ltd., and Modi Xerox, highlighting his wealth of expertise in information technology and leadership.
Prior to his time at JSW, Sinha spent over twelve years at Apollo Tyres, where he served as the Group CIO and Head of Global Supply Chain, marking a pivotal phase in his professional journey. His academic qualifications are noteworthy, holding a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and an MBA in Finance and Operations from MDI. Additionally, he has participated in Strategic Leadership Programs at Brown University and IMD Lausanne, Switzerland. Currently, Sinha is pursuing a Ph.D. at Narsee Monjee University, Mumbai.
