
Mumbai, USV Private Limited has elevated Mahidhwaj Sisodia to the position of Chief Business Officer – International Business. In his expanded leadership role, he will oversee the company’s global markets, overseas subsidiaries, and strategic expansion initiatives across international geographies.
Sisodia has led USV’s international business operations for several years, contributing to the development of its overseas portfolio and presence across global pharmaceutical markets. His elevation gives him broader responsibility for strengthening international operations, identifying growth opportunities, and advancing the company’s global business strategy.
Before joining USV, Sisodia held senior international business leadership roles across several pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations. His professional experience includes tenures at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, Tablets (India) Ltd, JB, Tagros Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd., Alkem Laboratories Ltd., and Sandu Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Throughout his career, Sisodia has developed extensive experience in pharmaceutical exports, international business development, market expansion, and the management of operations across multiple regions. His knowledge of global pharmaceutical markets and cross-border business operations positions him to lead USV’s next phase of international growth.
His elevation reinforces USV’s focus on expanding its presence across global markets and strengthening the reach of its active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished-dosage portfolio. The company’s international business includes a portfolio of small-molecule APIs, 31 of which are commercially available, along with finished-dosage products exported to more than 65 countries.
USV is an Indian healthcare company with more than six decades of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, and marketing. Originally established as a subsidiary of Revlon, it now operates independently across domestic and international markets. The company has a presence in therapeutic segments including cardiology, diabetology, dermatology, gastroenterology, central nervous system therapies, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. It operates seven manufacturing plants in India—four for formulations, two for APIs, and one for biological drugs—along with a corporate office and research and development centre in Mumbai.
