India — WirelessCar has officially entered the Indian market with the opening of its Bengaluru office, expanding its global operations as the connected vehicle technology company strengthens its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive and mobility markets.
The new office will operate as an integral part of WirelessCar’s global organization, supporting the development and delivery of connected vehicle services for automotive customers across international markets. The expansion reflects the company’s long-term strategy to leverage India’s engineering talent and growing automotive technology ecosystem to support innovation in connected mobility solutions.
According to the company, India represents a strategic growth market, driven by increasing adoption of connected vehicles, electrification, software-defined vehicles, advanced infotainment systems, telematics, and safety technologies. The Bengaluru centre is expected to play a key role in supporting product development, engineering, and customer delivery while strengthening collaboration with WirelessCar’s global teams.
Commenting on the expansion, Niklas Florén, Chief Executive Officer of WirelessCar, said, “This is a pivotal step for WirelessCar. Establishing ourselves in India opens doors across Asia and positions us where the future of mobility is being shaped. This investment demonstrates our commitment to being a truly global partner to the automotive industry.”
WirelessCar began establishing its presence in India in 2025 with the appointment of Ajay Sundar as Country Manager. Since then, the company has focused on building its local workforce, onboarding engineering talent, and integrating its India operations with its global organization to support customers across regions.
The expansion comes as India’s automotive technology sector witnesses growing investment in connected mobility, electric vehicles, software-defined vehicle platforms, over-the-air software updates, telematics, and cloud-enabled automotive services. Global mobility technology companies are increasingly establishing engineering and innovation centres in India to support next-generation vehicle technologies and accelerate digital transformation across the automotive industry.
