Bringing over three decades of diverse HR leadership experience, Mehrotra has worked with leading organizations such as ITC Limited, Ashok Leyland, Zensar Technologies, Mylan, and Kennametal. “With over 30 years of experience across industry giants like ITC Limited, Ashok Leyland, Zensar Technologies, Mylan, and Kennametal, he brings deep expertise in organization design, digital HR, and leadership development.” At ACME, he will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide HR transformation, building organizational capabilities, and shaping a forward-looking people strategy that supports the company’s renewable energy ambitions.
In his previous role as Head of HR at HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL), Mehrotra led several key initiatives centered around future-ready talent, leadership development, and cultural evolution. “Before joining ACME, Gopalji was Head of HR at HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL), where he led future-focused initiatives in renewables and retail, built a robust leadership pipeline, and drove cultural transformation.”
Mehrotra has also held global and strategic HR mandates, notably during his time at Kennametal, where he was responsible for merger and acquisition due diligence and revamping HR processes across 17 countries. “His leadership journey spans strategic HR roles at Astix and global mandates at Kennametal, where he led M&A due diligence and HR process redesign across 17 countries.” His expertise spans executive coaching, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), and digital transformation—key pillars for building agile, inclusive, and high-performing organizations.
