Mozilla has announced the appointment of Raffi Krikorian as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), tasking him with leading the company’s technology strategy and innovation roadmap. Raffi brings extensive experience at the intersection of technology, ethics, and social impact. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director at Emerson Collective, where he led transformative initiatives focused on AI ethics, social good, and technology innovation. His work emphasized responsible deployment of advanced technologies to create positive societal impact.
Prior to Emerson Collective, Raffi held leadership roles at Twitter, where he was responsible for building large-scale infrastructure systems, and at Uber as Engineering Director, overseeing engineering teams and platform scalability. He also contributed to public service by modernizing digital operations for the Democratic National Committee, ensuring robust and efficient technology systems. Beyond these roles, he has been Board Chair at Medic, an open-source health tech nonprofit dedicated to improving global healthcare access.
