L’Oréal Names Aman Gandhi as Head of Cybersecurity for Global Tech Hub–India

L’Oréal has appointed Aman Gandhi as Head of Cybersecurity for its Global Tech Hub–India, marking a new leadership move as the company builds its technology and digital capabilities from the country.

Gandhi announced his move in a LinkedIn post, saying he has joined L’Oréal in the cybersecurity leadership role. He described the India technology hub as a newly established centre and said his focus will be on building cybersecurity capabilities that are scalable, resilient and aligned with the hub’s technology and innovation plans.

The appointment comes as L’Oréal develops its Global Tech Hub in Hyderabad, which the company announced in January 2026 as its first global technology hub in India. L’Oréal said the hub would support its global technology roadmap and work across areas including data, artificial intelligence, generative AI and agentic AI. The company has planned an investment of €350 million, or around ₹3,500 crore, by 2030, with the hub expected to create around 2,000 technology jobs.

The Hyderabad centre is being developed as part of L’Oréal’s wider Beauty Tech strategy. Company executives have described the India hub as a centre that will work with L’Oréal’s global technology network and develop technology capabilities that can support different functions, divisions and markets.

Against this backdrop, Gandhi’s role will focus specifically on establishing and strengthening the cybersecurity function for the India technology hub. In his announcement, he said the opportunity to shape the cybersecurity landscape from the early stages was particularly meaningful as the hub develops.

Gandhi joins L’Oréal after spending about six years with Saint-Gobain International IT Delivery Centre, where he worked as a Cybersecurity Manager. In a post marking his departure from Saint-Gobain, Gandhi said he had joined the organisation as a Cybersecurity Manager and had opportunities to lead workgroups, conduct conferences, train others and participate in technology and cybersecurity initiatives.

His previous association with Saint-Gobain also placed him within its global IT and technology organisation. The Saint-Gobain International IT Delivery Centre operates as a global capability organisation and has highlighted cybersecurity, digital transformation, innovation and technology among its areas of focus.

At L’Oréal, Gandhi’s mandate comes at a stage when the company is assembling teams for its new India technology operation. Other technology professionals have also recently announced moves into the Hyderabad hub, including appointments covering service delivery and identity management, indicating that the technology centre is being built across multiple specialised functions.

Gandhi said his priorities will include building strong cybersecurity foundations for the hub and developing capabilities that can scale with its growth. He also highlighted the need for cybersecurity to remain resilient while keeping pace with innovation.

The appointment gives L’Oréal a dedicated cybersecurity leadership role within its India Global Tech Hub as the company expands its technology presence in Hyderabad. With the centre expected to work across AI, data and digital technologies, cybersecurity will form part of the technology foundation supporting its development and global operations.
