Greaves Electric Mobility has appointed Pranesh Urs as Head of Marketing, further strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its presence in the electric mobility sector.
In his new role, Urs will report to Vikas Singh, Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Greaves Electric Mobility. He will lead the organisation’s marketing function, focusing on strengthening the brand positioning of Ampere, Ele and Eltra while driving integrated marketing initiatives across the electric two-wheeler (E2W) and electric three-wheeler (E3W) segments.
Urs brings close to thirteen years of experience in marketing and branding, having worked across industries such as automobiles and consumer electronics. His responsibilities will include developing brand strategy, driving integrated campaigns and supporting the company’s broader mission of delivering sustainable and intelligent mobility solutions.

Before joining Greaves Electric Mobility, Urs held roles across several organisations in the consumer electronics and electric mobility sectors, including Ather Energy, Samsung India Electronics and Hewlett-Packard India Sales Private Limited. Through these roles, he built experience in brand strategy, marketing communications and product positioning within technology-driven industries.
Urs holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mangalore University and a Masters Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies in Pune.
