Eicore Appoints Alok Bajaj as Executive Director for Engineering, Transformation & Delivery

Eicore has announced the appointment of Alok Bajaj as Executive Director – Engineering, Transformation & Delivery, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it accelerates its focus on digital innovation and next-generation insurance technology solutions. With more than two decades of industry experience, Bajaj is expected to play a key role in driving large-scale engineering transformation and modernization initiatives within the organization.

In his new role, Bajaj will lead strategic programs centered on AI-native and cloud-first platforms while overseeing enterprise modernization efforts across the insurance technology ecosystem. He will also focus on enhancing scalable engineering capabilities, streamlining digital delivery frameworks, and supporting the company’s long-term transformation roadmap. Industry experts believe such leadership appointments are becoming increasingly important as insurance firms rapidly adopt AI-driven and cloud-based operating models.

Before joining Eicore, Bajaj held several senior leadership positions across major insurance and technology organizations. His professional journey includes leadership roles at Guardian Life, Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited, OneShield Software, Nagarro, Sun Life Financial, and SBS. During his tenure at these companies, he managed enterprise engineering programs, digital transformation strategies, cloud migration initiatives, and AI adoption projects across global insurance and financial services sectors.

Over the years, Bajaj has developed extensive expertise in platform modernization and enterprise-scale technology implementation. His experience spans cloud infrastructure optimization, intelligent automation, digital product engineering, and transformation of legacy systems into agile, scalable platforms. Industry observers note that leaders with deep expertise in insurance technology are increasingly in demand as insurers modernize operations to improve customer experience, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

Eicore’s decision to bring Bajaj on board aligns with broader industry trends where insurance companies are accelerating investments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital engineering. The global insurance sector is witnessing rapid technological evolution as organizations attempt to reduce operational complexity, automate claims and underwriting processes, and build more adaptive customer-centric platforms. AI-native architectures and cloud-first ecosystems are now becoming central pillars of modern insurance transformation strategies.

With Bajaj joining the leadership team, Eicore is expected to further strengthen its engineering and digital transformation capabilities while expanding innovation-led initiatives across its services portfolio. His background in managing complex enterprise technology programs across multinational organizations could help position the company for greater scalability and competitiveness in the evolving global insurance technology landscape.
