
Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has announced the appointment of Pratik Sengupta as Managing Director within its Disputes and Investigations practice. This appointment reflects A&M’s continued investment in strengthening its dispute advisory and governance capabilities across India and the Middle East.
Mr. Sengupta brings over 20 years of experience in dispute advisory, valuation analysis, and governance. He specializes in financial analysis and damage quantification for settlement negotiations and has extensive expertise in applying advanced valuation methodologies to complex disputes. He has also provided expert testimony in international arbitration forums, including SIAC, supporting dispute resolution across high-stakes matters.
He has advised clients across India, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, working across sectors including healthcare, infrastructure, oil and gas, renewable energy, technology, and utilities.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sengupta held senior leadership roles at Grant Thornton Bharat, Kroll, and EY, where he led dispute valuations, infrastructure valuations, and alternative asset advisory practices. He also served as Head of Valuations and Financial Performance at the Oman Investment Authority, overseeing global portfolio valuations and governance processes.
