OptiValue Tek Unveils SENTINEL-DOME Counter-UAS Defence Shield for Critical Infrastructure Protection

Advanced AI-driven counter-drone shield for critical infrastructure security ~

New Delhi, India: OptiValue Tek, a global technology consulting firm, announces the launch of SENTINEL-DOME, its next-generation Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Defence Shield designed to protect critical infrastructure from the growing threat posed by unauthorized and hostile drones.

As drone adoption continues to accelerate across commercial, industrial, and recreational sectors, critical infrastructure operators are increasingly facing risks associated with unauthorized surveillance, smuggling, operational disruption, and potential security attacks. Addressing these emerging challenges, SENTINEL-DOME has been developed as a comprehensive sensor-to-shooter ecosystem that enables organizations to detect, identify, track, and neutralize drone threats in real time. The solution is designed for deployment across airports, power plants, oil and gas facilities, government establishments, defence installations, industrial campuses, and other high-value assets where airspace security has become a strategic priority.

At the core of SENTINEL-DOME is a multi-sensor detection framework that integrates AESA Radar, RF detection systems, Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) cameras, and acoustic sensors to provide persistent 360-degree surveillance and early threat detection. Information gathered from these sensors is processed through AI-enabled sensor fusion technology, enabling rapid threat identification, classification, tracking, and prioritization. The system follows a complete operational workflow encompassing Detect, Classify, Authorize, Intercept, Neutralize, and Report, allowing security teams to respond faster and with greater situational awareness. Once a threat is confirmed, SENTINEL-DOME supports autonomous neutralization through interceptor drones, creating a seamless and highly effective defence chain.

To further strengthen monitoring and surveillance capabilities, the platform incorporates a tethered Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) drone capable of providing elevated surveillance coverage across a radius of up to five kilometres. This capability enhances visibility over large facilities and enables continuous monitoring of sensitive and high-risk areas.

“SENTINEL-DOME has been designed to address one of the fastest-growing security challenges facing critical infrastructure today. As drone technology becomes increasingly accessible, organizations require advanced capabilities to detect threats early, make informed decisions quickly, and respond effectively. Our goal is to deliver an integrated and autonomous defence solution that strengthens security resilience and helps organizations stay ahead of evolving aerial threats,” said Ashish Kumar, Managing Director, OptiValue Tek Consulting Limited.

Built on a layered defence architecture comprising Detection, Identification, Decision, and Neutralization layers, SENTINEL-DOME delivers comprehensive protection against a wide range of drone threats. The platform combines persistent 360-degree surveillance, AI-assisted threat detection and decision support, autonomous interceptor deployment, and real-time situational awareness within a single integrated system. Designed for all-weather operations, the solution enables rapid threat assessment and response while providing security teams with enhanced operational visibility. Its modular and scalable architecture allows deployment across diverse environments, ranging from individual facilities and industrial campuses to large-scale national critical infrastructure assets, ensuring organizations can adapt their security posture to evolving operational and threat requirements.

With SENTINEL-DOME, OptiValue Tek aims to strengthen national and enterprise security by providing next-generation counter-drone capabilities that enhance resilience, improve operational readiness, and safeguard critical assets against increasingly sophisticated airborne threats.
