Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, Cybersecurity industry veteran Shakeel Khan has joined Cato Networks as its India Leader, taking responsibility for accelerating the company’s growth and strengthening its enterprise presence in the country. His appointment comes as Indian organisations increasingly seek integrated networking and security architectures to support cloud adoption, distributed workforces and artificial-intelligence deployments.
In his new role, Khan will lead Cato Networks’ India business and work closely with customers, partners and regional sales teams to expand the adoption of the company’s Secure Access Service Edge platform. His focus will include helping enterprises replace fragmented networking and cybersecurity products with a unified, cloud-native architecture that brings connectivity, access controls, threat protection and data security together on a single platform.

Announcing his move, Khan said he had joined Cato Networks “to help lead and accelerate its growth in India.”
Before joining Cato Networks, Khan served as Regional Vice President and Country Manager for India at Okta, where he led the identity-security company’s sales operations and strategic expansion in the market. He focused on helping Indian enterprises strengthen identity protection, implement zero-trust frameworks and secure digital-transformation programmes.
Previously, Khan was Vice President – Sales and Pre-Sales for India and SAARC at ColorTokens. He earlier served as Regional Director – Sales and Pre-Sales at the company, leading enterprise cybersecurity engagements and supporting the adoption of microsegmentation and zero-trust security solutions.
His career also includes leadership positions at Zscaler, where he served as Business Leader for Zscaler Private Access across Asia-Pacific and Japan and as Regional Manager for India. Khan has additionally held roles at Fortinet, IBM and Veeras Infotek. With nearly three decades of cybersecurity experience, his expertise covers enterprise sales, pre-sales, identity security, network security, zero trust, cloud transformation and cyber resilience.
