Gurugram-based water infrastructure technology company DigitalPaani has raised ₹22 crore in a funding round led by Navam Capital. The round also saw participation from Enzia Ventures, Chakra Growth Capital, 3one4 Capital, Momentum Capital, Achieving Women Entrepreneurs Early Growth Fund, and Echo River Capital.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its market presence across industrial and municipal sectors, scale operations to support its growing institutional customer base, and begin international expansion. DigitalPaani said the funding will support its efforts to increase its reach across water and wastewater infrastructure markets.
Founded in 2020 by Mansi Jain and Rajesh Jain, DigitalPaani provides an operating system for water and wastewater infrastructure. Its platform combines artificial intelligence-driven insights with real-time asset monitoring to help utilities, municipalities and enterprises manage their water infrastructure. The platform is designed to improve water recycling, reduce operational losses and prevent equipment failures.
According to DigitalPaani, its platform analyses real-time operational data against the designed operating parameters of individual assets. It identifies inefficiencies and automates actions related to equipment, maintenance, teams and inventory. This enables operators to monitor infrastructure and address operational issues through a technology-driven system.
DigitalPaani said its technology is currently deployed across more than 95 facilities that collectively treat over 150 million litres of water daily. Its clients include Britannia, Leela Hotels, Tata Group and Delhi Jal Board. The company said its deployments have helped transform non-compliant plants into fully operational assets and have delivered cost savings of up to 25%.
The company has also reported nearly sixfold revenue growth over the past two years. Its platform is focused on the operational management of water and wastewater infrastructure, with applications across industrial, commercial and municipal environments.
With the latest funding, DigitalPaani will increase its focus on the industrial and municipal segments while scaling its operations for institutional customers. The company will also use the capital to start expanding into international markets. This expansion will build on its existing deployment base in India and its technology platform for monitoring and managing water infrastructure.
DigitalPaani’s funding comes as technology adoption in water infrastructure is expanding, with companies increasingly using AI, IoT and digital systems to improve the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater assets. Other startups are also working on technology-led solutions for the sector. Ubiqedge, for instance, raised ₹10 crore in a seed round led by Piper Serica in April 2026 to scale its AIoT platform for infrastructure, including water systems. IIT Madras-incubated Solinas Integrity raised $5.5 million in a Series A1 round in August 2026 and uses robotics and AI to inspect, clean and digitise underground water, wastewater and sanitation infrastructure.
For DigitalPaani, the ₹22 crore fundraise will support the next phase of its expansion across industrial and municipal markets, operational scale-up and international entry. The company will continue to build its AI-powered operating system for water and wastewater infrastructure as it expands its institutional customer base.
