MiPhi Semiconductors has appointed Nupur Shrivastava as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), bringing in an experienced technology-sector HR leader as the company expands its operations and organisational capabilities in India. The appointment was reported on September 24, 2026.
Shrivastava brings more than two decades of experience in human resources, with a career spanning technology companies including Intel, Arm, Nokia and Honeywell. Most recently, she served as Head of People and HR Senior Director for Intel India and APAC, where she led people strategy across a regional footprint covering more than 10 countries and supported functions including engineering, product, foundry, sales and corporate operations.
She joined Intel in 2019 and held several HR leadership responsibilities during her tenure. Before Intel, Shrivastava was associated with Arm, where she served as India HR Head and later took on a global diversity and inclusion mandate. Earlier, she worked with Nokia in HR roles supporting its research and development operations in Bengaluru and with Honeywell Technologies. Her career began with Titan Industries, followed by experience at Harita TVS Technologies.
At MiPhi, Shrivastava will lead the company’s people and organisation strategy. Her responsibilities will include building leadership capabilities, strengthening talent acquisition and development, shaping organisational culture and supporting workforce growth as the company expands.
MiPhi Semiconductors is a joint venture between Micromax Informatics and Taiwan-based Phison Electronics. The company focuses on semiconductor memory and storage technologies and develops products for enterprise, consumer, embedded, AI and security applications. Its stated focus includes bringing integrated circuit design and manufacturing capabilities to India.
Rahul Sharma, Co-founder of MiPhi Semiconductors, said that building the right people and culture is as important to the company as developing its technology and products. He highlighted Shrivastava’s experience with global technology organisations as relevant to building teams and leadership capabilities as MiPhi grows.
