Arvind Sharma has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ACKO Life Insurance Limited. Sharma announced his appointment, marking his move into the senior finance leadership role at the life insurance company.
Sharma brings experience across insurance, financial services, taxation, investments and finance transformation. Before joining ACKO Life Insurance, he was associated with the Navi Group, where he held finance leadership positions.
His professional background includes serving as CFO at Navi General Insurance and as CFO at Navi AMC. He joined the Navi Group in January 2021 and held multiple responsibilities across finance and taxation. Publicly available professional information lists his overall experience in the BFSI sector at more than 12 years.
Earlier in his career, Sharma worked with HDFC ERGO General Insurance, where he served as Manager. He also worked with Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company, R N Marwah & Co. LLP and Sandeep R K Gupta & Co. His experience has covered taxation, financial controls, insurance finance, investments and regulatory requirements.
At ACKO Life Insurance, Sharma will take on responsibility for the company’s finance function as the insurer continues to develop its life insurance business. ACKO Life Insurance is an IRDAI-registered life insurer, with its financial and regulatory disclosures published through the company’s official platforms.
Sharma’s appointment brings finance leadership experience from both general insurance and asset management into ACKO Life Insurance’s senior management team.
