Vishal Mishra has been elevated to Chief AI Officer and Head of Growth at IDC Technologies, based in Dubai. In the expanded role, he will focus on AI-led growth, enterprise AI transformation, strategic technology partnerships and the commercialisation of AI, Data and Digital solutions. The appointment was reported on September 24, 2026.
Mishra has more than 18 years of experience across artificial intelligence, software engineering, digital transformation, cloud technologies and enterprise technology. Before taking on the expanded mandate, he had been serving as Chief AI Officer at IDC Technologies in Dubai since April 2026, where he led the Data, Analytics and AI practice across the Middle East, with a focus on enterprise AI transformation, intelligent automation and scalable AI adoption.
Earlier, Mishra served as Director of Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering at Inception42. His previous experience also includes leadership roles at Accenture Middle East and Emirates, along with his stint as Co-Founder at ConioSystems LLP. He began his technology career in software engineering roles and also worked with Mindtree.
In his new role at IDC Technologies, Mishra will work on expanding the company’s growth engine across new-logo acquisition, strategic accounts, partnerships and emerging markets. His responsibilities will also include integrating AI into sales, solutions, propositions and transformation engagements.
Mishra will also be responsible for shaping and commercialising AI, Data and Digital offerings and leading technology partnerships and joint go-to-market initiatives with hyperscalers and other ecosystem partners. His mandate includes supporting client engagements around AI transformation, agentic AI, data strategy and enterprise AI adoption.
His career spans AI strategy, agentic AI, software architecture, engineering leadership, automation, cloud technologies and enterprise transformation. The expanded position brings his technology and AI experience together with a broader growth mandate at IDC Technologies.
