Jatinder Randhawa Joins Qapita as Chief Information Security Officer

Jatinder Randhawa has joined equity management platform Qapita as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), bringing experience in information security, network architecture, risk management and business continuity across financial services and defence.

Randhawa previously headed information security at Worldline India. An Indian Army veteran from the Corps of Signals, his background spans cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, digital transformation and programme management. His professional biography records more than 22 years of experience across these disciplines.

The move brings a leader with payments-sector and military technology experience into a business that supports the management of company ownership and employee equity. Qapita’s platform covers cap table management, stock option administration, valuations and compliance, alongside fund management offerings. These services involve records concerning shareholders, investment structures and employee equity entitlements, making information protection and data integrity important to the platform’s operations.

At Worldline, Randhawa held the position of Associate Vice President and Head of Information Security, according to industry conference profiles. His professional background includes designing and implementing network and security architectures for complex environments involving multiple vendors and services.

Before his corporate security career, Randhawa served as Director of IT Project Management and Information Security in the Indian Army. His experience also includes developing and updating policies and processes for risk management and business continuity, with attention to organisational and regulatory requirements.

Randhawa holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential and a master’s degree in Optoelectronics and Optical Communication from IIT Delhi. His biography also highlights teaching and mentoring experience, including guiding postgraduate, undergraduate and diploma students in technology-related disciplines.

For Qapita, the appointment brings together experience in security governance and the engineering of complex technology environments. That combination is relevant to an enterprise platform serving founders, finance teams, investors and employees, where dependable access to accurate ownership information underpins customer confidence.

Randhawa’s move marks a transition from information security leadership in payments to the equity management technology sector, carrying forward experience in protecting systems, managing operational risk and supporting business continuity.
