
Adani Group has announced the appointment of Sudhir Dasamantharao as the Chief Executive Officer of Adani Enterprise GCC, strengthening its leadership team as the conglomerate continues to expand its global operations and digital transformation initiatives. The appointment reflects the company’s focus on building advanced Global Capability Centers (GCCs) to support innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth.
Sudhir Dasamantharao brings more than two decades of experience in transformation strategy, shared services, and operational leadership across multiple industries. Before joining Adani Group, he worked as an External Senior Advisor for GCC at McKinsey & Company, where he advised multinational corporations on developing and scaling Global Capability Centers. His role involved helping organizations optimize business functions and accelerate enterprise transformation in increasingly technology-driven environments.
In addition to his advisory work at McKinsey, Dasamantharao also served as the Chairperson of the Board at Giftt Consulting. During his tenure, he focused on talent transformation and the evolving role of human potential in an AI-led business landscape. His work emphasized preparing organizations and workforces for rapid technological advancements and changing enterprise needs.
Earlier in his career, Dasamantharao held the position of Chief Operating Officer at FourthSquare, where he managed global delivery centers and operational functions. His leadership at the company was centered around operational excellence, business scalability, and performance optimization. He also spent seven years at Boston Scientific as Senior Director and Chief Transformation Leader for the Asia-Pacific region, leading strategic transformation initiatives across key markets.
His professional journey further includes leadership roles at Solenis and EY, along with foundational experience at major financial and insurance organizations such as HSBC, Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, Capital One, and American Express. Across these roles, he has consistently contributed to driving innovation, efficiency, and value creation within large-scale global operations. With his appointment, Adani Group is expected to strengthen the strategic capabilities of its GCC operations and further enhance its enterprise transformation efforts.
