Agritech startup Agrizy has elevated Markish Arun to the role of Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening its leadership as it scales its technology-led platform globally.
Arun, who previously served as Head of Engineering and Products, will now lead the company’s end-to-end technology and AI roadmap. His responsibilities include expanding Agrizy’s intelligence layer, building scalable decision-support systems, and enabling traceable global supply chain solutions powered by technology.
He joined Agrizy in 2022 and has since played a pivotal role in building its core product and engineering foundation. His contributions include developing the company’s AI-driven intelligence platform, which accelerates new product development and reduces time-to-market for global food and wellness brands.
With over 25 years of experience, Arun has held key leadership roles across the technology ecosystem. Prior to Agrizy, he served as CTO at Zoomcar for nearly three years and has also worked with companies such as Goibibo, Yatra, and SAP Labs. He is also a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded ventures including MagicRooms, Trip38, and Dixsoft Business Solutions.
Founded in 2021, Agrizy operates as a tech-enabled contract research, development, and manufacturing organisation (CRDMO) for food, beverage, and wellness brands. The company currently partners with over 350 brands across 20+ countries, leveraging technology and AI to streamline product development and supply chain processes.
