
Radico Khaitan Limited has appointed Dr Ashish Shrivastava as Chief Information Officer (CIO), strengthening its technology leadership as the company looks to advance its digital and artificial intelligence capabilities. In his new role, Dr Shrivastava will lead the company’s information technology function, with a focus on AI-driven digital transformation, technology initiatives and the use of enterprise technology to support business growth.
Dr Shrivastava brings more than 25 years of experience across technology leadership, digital transformation, enterprise technology, AI, P&L management and large-scale operations. His career has spanned multiple sectors, including banking, retail, manufacturing, media, telecom and government. His experience includes technology strategy, enterprise applications, cloud, cybersecurity, automation, data and analytics, Industry 4.0 and business transformation.
Before joining Radico Khaitan, Dr Shrivastava served at Financial Software & System (FSS), where he held senior technology leadership responsibilities including Head – Technology and Business Head – Digital Engineering. At FSS, he was involved in technology vision, digital engineering, banking transformation, cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems, AI and machine learning, automation, cybersecurity and operations. Recent leadership profiles also report that he managed a ₹500+ crore hosted business, a 600-member banking transformation service and 12 products, along with cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
Earlier, Dr Shrivastava served as Chief Technology Officer at the Punjab State E-Governance Society, where he worked on digital transformation initiatives across government departments. His experience in the government technology ecosystem included projects covering approximately 30 million citizens, 800 services and 100 applications, according to recent professional profiles.
His career also includes senior technology leadership positions at CMS Infosystems, where he served as Chief Information Officer, and Allied Blenders & Distillers, where he held the position of Head – IT and CIO. At Allied Blenders & Distillers, his experience included enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives within the consumer and manufacturing environment. He has also held technology leadership responsibilities at Reliance Retail, where he worked across enterprise technology, SAP, cloud, AI/RPA, IoT, data analytics, cybersecurity, mobility and large-scale digital transformation programmes.
Across these roles, Dr Shrivastava has worked on technology programmes involving large and complex operating environments. His career experience includes managing technology and transformation initiatives for more than 90 national and international banks, 75,000+ ATMs, 20,000+ retail outlets and 55 manufacturing plants. He has also worked on smart-city and citizen-service transformation initiatives, alongside cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise applications and Industry 4.0 programmes.
At Radico Khaitan, his mandate will centre on strengthening the company’s digital capabilities and advancing AI-led transformation. Recent reports on his appointment indicate that his technology agenda will include areas such as digital transformation, technology strategy, enterprise technology and AI-led business initiatives.
