Shiprocket reported a consolidated profit after tax of approximately ₹60 lakh for the second quarter of FY27, reversing a ₹20.3 crore loss in the corresponding period last year. Revenue from operations increased about 35% to ₹673.6 crore from ₹500.2 crore, while adjusted EBITDA reached ₹14.2 crore.
The Gurugram-based company operates an ecommerce-enablement platform spanning shipping, fulfilment, checkout, marketing technology, cross-border services, omnichannel commerce and AI-supported merchant tools. It serves more than 236,000 active merchants and processes approximately 233 million transactions annually.
The emerging-business portfolio, which includes marketing-technology and omnichannel products, grew 61% during the quarter. This segment is important to Shiprocket’s effort to move beyond shipping aggregation and earn a larger share of spending across the merchant-commerce stack.
Following its public listing, Shiprocket repaid ₹242 crore of borrowings and ended the first half of FY27 without debt. The repayment changes the company’s balance-sheet position and reduces finance costs at a point when it is investing in multiple adjacent services. The company’s financial performance will now be assessed on whether profitability can be sustained while those newer operations continue scaling.
The quarter also provides an early indication of how listed Indian startup companies are being evaluated after their IPOs. Revenue expansion remains material, but public-market investors are increasingly focused on operating leverage, cash generation and the quality of growth across individual business segments. Shiprocket’s move into positive PAT is therefore accompanied by scrutiny of whether the result can be repeated without reducing product investment.
Its merchant base provides a distribution channel for checkout, marketing, fulfilment and cross-border tools, but each category also places the company against specialist competitors. The strategy depends on converting existing shipping customers into users of additional products while maintaining service levels across a large transaction volume.
Shiprocket’s results were approved by its board on 5 November and subsequently detailed in the company’s regulatory and press-release materials. The figures remain unaudited consolidated results for the quarter and six months ended 30 September 2026.
