Tata Advanced Systems Limited has appointed Jayant Magar as Chief Information Officer, as the company advances its enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives.
In this role, he will lead the organization’s IT strategy, focusing on strengthening digital capabilities, enabling innovation, and driving large-scale transformation across business operations.
He brings over two decades of experience in IT leadership. Most recently, he served as Group CIO & Vice President – IT at Hindustan Platinum from August 2019 to April 2026, where he led enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
Prior to this, he held the position of CIO & Vice President – IT at AMW Motors Ltd from December 2013, overseeing IT strategy and transformation programs.
Earlier, he worked at Mahindra & Mahindra as General Manager – IT / Head – Information Technology from March 2010 to December 2013 in Pune, contributing to enterprise IT leadership.
He also served as Head – IT at JCB Manufacturing Ltd from October 2008 to March 2010.
A significant part of his early career was spent at Endurance Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where he worked as Head – Corporate IT from June 1995 to October 2008, building foundational expertise in enterprise systems and IT operations.
With experience spanning enterprise IT, digital strategy, and large-scale transformation, Jayant Magar brings a strong foundation to lead Tata Advanced Systems Limited’s technology and innovation agenda.
