Tata AIA Life Insurance has appointed Kamlesh Jobanputra as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening its technology leadership as the company continues to advance its digital transformation initiatives.
Before joining Tata AIA Life Insurance, Jobanputra served as Chief Technology and Data Officer at Edelweiss Life Insurance, where he led technology and data-driven initiatives. Over the course of his career, he has held several key leadership roles, including Head – Enterprise Applications at Kotak Life, AVP – Head of Application Development at IDBI Federal Life Insurance Company Ltd., Senior Manager – Projects (Health Insurance Applications) at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, and Business Analyst positions at NSEIT Limited and Bitsoft.
With a career spanning enterprise technology, application development, data management, and digital innovation, Jobanputra has built extensive expertise in IT strategy, technology governance, risk management, and large-scale digital transformation. His experience in leading enterprise technology functions across the insurance sector is expected to support Tata AIA Life Insurance’s ongoing focus on innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric digital solutions.
In his new role as CTO, Jobanputra will lead the organization’s technology strategy, driving initiatives that strengthen digital capabilities, modernize technology infrastructure, and support the company’s long-term business objectives.
