Moneyview Raises ₹327.5 Crore from Anchor Investors Ahead of IPO

Bengaluru-based digital lending platform Moneyview has raised ₹327.5 crore from anchor investors ahead of its ₹1,092 crore initial public offering (IPO), which opens for public subscription on September 24.

The company allotted 9.63 crore equity shares at ₹34 per share, the upper end of its IPO price band, to 12 anchor investors on September 23. Domestic mutual funds accounted for the majority of the anchor allocation, with SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and Quant Mutual Fund among the participants.

Other investors participating in the anchor book included Goldman Sachs, Amundi Funds, 360 ONE, HDFC Life Insurance Company and India Acorn Fund. Of the shares allotted to anchor investors, 6.96 crore shares worth ₹236.7 crore were allocated to seven domestic mutual funds.

Moneyview’s IPO will remain open from September 24 to September 28, with the price band fixed at ₹32-34 per share. The issue comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹750 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 10.04 crore shares worth ₹341.6 crore by promoters and existing investors.

The company plans to use ₹325 crore from the net proceeds of the fresh issue to support growth in loan disbursals under default loss guarantee (DLG) arrangements. Another ₹250 crore will be invested in its subsidiary Whizdm Finance to strengthen its capital base, while the remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Moneyview was founded by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal and operates as a digital financial services platform connecting consumers with banks, non-banking financial companies, insurers and other financial institutions. Its offerings include personal loans, insurance, credit cards and digital gold. As of June 2026, the company had 14.03 crore registered users and 48 financial partners on its network.

The company reported revenue of ₹3,351.2 crore for the financial year ended March 2026, up 43.3% from ₹2,339.1 crore in the previous year. Its profit for the year stood at ₹242.7 crore, compared with ₹240.3 crore a year earlier.

For the quarter ended June 2026, Moneyview reported a net profit of ₹173.8 crore, compared with ₹67.15 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Revenue from operations increased 50.2% year-on-year to ₹1,041.1 crore from ₹693 crore.

The IPO values Moneyview at close to ₹6,000 crore at the upper end of the price band. Accel is the company’s largest shareholder with a 21.89% stake, followed by Internet Fund III, an affiliate of Tiger Global Management, with 13.79%. Promoter Sanjay Aggarwal holds 10.33%, while Ribbit Capital and Puneet Agarwal hold 10.2% and 8.66%, respectively.

Axis Capital, BofA Securities India, IIFL Capital Services and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company are the book-running lead managers for the IPO.
